The Piedmont Plastics Contract Manufacturing Division (“CMG”) produces highly-engineered precision machined plastic parts and components, with a primary focus on manufacturers of medical devices and diagnostic instruments throughout the U.S.
Situation:
- CMG was established in 1995 to provide precision plastic machining services
- As the parent company was focusing solely on building out its national distribution network, management made the decision to divest CMG
Challenges:
- Customer concentrations
- Getting buyers to focus on the operating potential of CMG
Successful Solution:
- Anderson LeNeave approached a broad group of strategic and financial buyers and received numerous offers. Ultimately, CMG was sold to management of the division.
